Bags are sewn shut and thick. DTF lets you print a finished bag without disassembly.

Settings that work

Temperature	130–150 °C
Press time	10–15 seconds
Pressure	Medium, 3–4 bar
Peel	Cold peel
Wash care	Spot clean

Settings are a starting point, not gospel. Film batches, ink lots and press calibration all shift the ideal number — always pull-test a sample before a paid run.

What goes wrong, and how to fix it

Problem	Fix
Cannot reach the print area	Use a pressing pillow or a small platen inside the bag.
Zippers and straps crush	Keep the design 1 inch from hardware.

What to buy for backpacks & bags

Weekly volume	Machine class	Why
Under 20 shirts a week	A4 or A3 desktop + heat press	A4 covers logos and kids sizes; A3 adds full adult backs. Both run on a normal desk.
20–60 shirts a week	A3 (33 cm) + shaker + oven	This is the volume where hand powdering becomes the bottleneck, not the printer.
60+ shirts a week	60 cm dual head + 60 cm oven	Gang sheets and a matched oven width. Two heads cut print time roughly in half.

Volume bands assume one operator and a standard 38 × 38 cm press. Verify with a sample before committing to a machine size.
