The DTF process offers a simplified alternative to screen printing or HTV vinyl:

Design & RIP: Finalize your artwork, including the white underbase, and process it using the AcroRip software on your Windows PC.

Print to Film: Print the design directly onto the specialized PET transfer film using the printer's CMYK and White DTF inks.

Powder & Cure: Manually apply DTF adhesive powder to the wet ink on the film. Shake off excess, then heat-cure the film (typically using a small oven or curing box) until the powder melts and adheres smoothly.

Heat Transfer: Position the cured film onto your garment (T-shirt, hoodie, etc.) and press using a commercial heat press machine.

Peel & Finish: Carefully peel the film away (the peel type depends on the film used) to reveal your permanent, full-color design.

Q: Is this printer ready for commercial use (POD)?A: Yes. Its single-head design is ideal for managing low-to-medium volume orders, and the White Ink Circulation feature is crucial for maintaining print reliability in a commercial setting.

Q: Why is Windows OS required?A: The specialized RIP software (AcroRip9.03), which is necessary for managing color and white ink layers in DTF printing, is only supported by Windows operating systems (XP/7/8/10/11).

Q: What materials do I need to start printing?A: In addition to the printer, you will need DTF inks, PET transfer film, DTF adhesive powder, and a commercial heat press machine.

Q: How does the White Ink Circulation system save me money?A: By continuously moving the white pigment, the system significantly reduces the risk of print head clogs. This means less wasted ink on cleaning cycles and fewer expensive print head replacements.

Q: Are the DTF prints durable enough for retail sales?A: Absolutely. When cured and pressed correctly, DTF prints are known for their soft hand-feel, high flexibility, and excellent wash durability, exceeding the quality required for retail and personalized use.
